There are too many 30 kph zones being created around the country, and they need to have federal control.
That’s the view of parliament in Bern. They’ve backed a motion to clarify what types of roads should be limited to 30.
The author of the motion, Liberal member Peter Schilliger, says 30 kph zones are extending in a ‘chaotic’ manner.
The motion says the default limit should be 50, with only a few exceptions.
