Neuchâtel police believe it was an accident that killed a 30-year-old woman and her dog.
Both were found yesterday afternoon in the Areuse Gorges.
Initial investigations suggest that they fell 30 meters while on a hike.
Rega, the Swiss Alpine Rescue and the Neuchâtel police recovered the woman. The dog was handled by SPS Neuchatel.
