Researchers in Geneva say they’ve achieved a historic breakthrough in artificial intelligence – they managed to get two robots to talk to each other and pass on a set of instructions.
It was described as a ‘cognitive masterpiece.’
The research team say it’s the first time they know of that two AIs have spoken to each other.
The first was given a task to spot a bright light on a screen – but was able to pass on the task to the other, which then carried it out.
