The French town of Annecy is bringing in stricter air quality rules from next year.
All vehicles will have to display the French Crit’Air sticker. Some high polluting vehicles could be banned from the centre if pollution levels get too high.
The Geneva pollution sticker is based on the French system, but the Geneva stickers are not valid in France. The rule will apply to all vehicles – even tourists.
There will be some unrestricted routes – especially those heading for the lake.
