Summer is coming to an end and schools have restarted in many German speaking cantons.
The issue of how to handle the pandemic is being decided on a canton-by-canton basis - but many eyes are on Aargau.
Its schools are now running and the canton is looking at bringing in mobile, vaccination centres for students starting next week. This will make Aargau the first canton to vaccinate in schools.
It also plans mass testing. That was due to start this week, a problem with the kits mean they have to be replaced and so should be ready for next week.
Only 12 cantons plan to test in schools – the others have yet to decide. Some are waiting for the latest recommendation from the Federal Council.
It's first meeting after the summer break will be tomorrow.
