Thousands clicked on a fake news link yesterday – only to be taken to a page which looked like a news site run by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation.
That also was fake.
It was an advert for a cypto-currency trading platform.
Many media outlets immediately reported the advert to online companies – including Google.
It has now been taken down, but experts say its almost impossible to track down those responsible.
