US president Joe Biden will meet the Swiss president Guy Parmelin and the foreign minister Ignazio Cassis next week before the summit with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The details of the exact location are uncertain at the moment – but the Swiss meeting is likely to be on Tuesday.
It’s also thought the Swiss leaders will meet Putin at some point during his stay in Switzerland.
Biden is already in Europe. He’s arrived in the UK ahead of the G7 meeting.
