It’s the instruction they didn’t want to hear – the residents of Brienz in Graubünden have to leave their homes by 1pm on Sunday.
Local authorities are worried about further rockfalls which are threatening the village.
It’s not just people, all animals have to be moved out as well.
All access to the village is now banned, only residents can enter.
It’s likely no one will be allowed to return home for the next few months, says the commune.
