A bus driver had a narrow escape Monday afternoon in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
A Geneva Public Transport line 80 bus collided with a freight train, according to the TPG.
The vehicle had just left its depot when it became stuck on a level crossing, blocked by another car.
As the barriers lowered, the driver tried to maneuver, but the train hit the rear of the bus at low speed, under ten kilometers an hour.
No passengers were on board and no one was injured. Police have opened an investigation.
