Three men are in a critical condition in hospital after a wrong-way crash this morning on the A40 motorway at Saint-Julien-en-Genevois
Two cars collided head-on at around 8am, apparently because one driver was travelling against the traffic.
The casualties, aged 69, 48 and 15, were taken to Annecy hospital in absolute emergency.
Around thirty firefighters were sent to the scene.
The motorway has now reopened to traffic.
