The latest weekly covid numbers have been released, and show a drop of 18% in infections at nearly 24,000, a 21% drop in hospital admissions and a fall in covid patients in intensive care.
The number of people who died last week was 18 – the week before it was 24.
The average hospital capacity runs at 76% across the country – in Geneva it’s 71% and Vaud 88%.
The government says it will act only when the health system is under pressure.
