A crane collapsed in Zurich on Monday. Five workers were injured and initial estimates suggest it caused several hundred thousand francs worth of damage.

The crane was at a building site in the district of Uerikon.

Investigations are now underway to find out why it fell. Police have brought in experts, including geologists, in an effort to determine the cause.

Witnesses say the accident could have been a lot worse.
