Crash causes major delays

Geneva police are appealing for witnesses after an accident in town caused major delays yesterday morning.

Police say when passing under the car park at Etoile, a car and a scooter hit each other which then caused a third motorcyclist to lose control and crash.

The scooter driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital. The other rider was only lightly injured.

The road had to be closed for around two hours leading to delays. It was reopened at around 11am.

Police are asking if anyone has any information to contact them.
