A cyclist was killed in the Charmilles area of Geneva yesterday afternoon. The 59-year-old was hit by a truck on the rue de Lyon just after 3pm.
Police confirmed the death despite immediate help from passers-by.
The major road was closed to traffic for two hours while investigations were carried out.
Policed are calling for witnesses.
