Hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters gathered outside the Géopolis building of the University of Lausanne on Saturday.
The crowd were supporting the students who have occupied the building since the end of last week, demanding more humanitarian aid for Gaza and the university release details of its dealings with Israeli institutions.
Speakers at the demonstration, which included some university staff, backed the position of the students and circulated a letter calling on the university management to be more transparent on its dealings with Israel.
