Students and staff in Geneva are mobilising against planned cuts to higher education.
In Bern there'll be discussions this week to cut federal funding. Groups at the University of Geneva and schools have announced a week of action.
They’re protesting a federal plan to save CHF 460m a year from 2027, as well as cantonal measures, including a subsidy cut and tuition fee increases.
Rallies and assemblies are planned all week.
Similar protests are set for Lausanne and other Swiss cities.
