A truck driver was bitten in the face by a dog owned by border guard at the Bardonnex crossing last month.
The attack happened after the dog was checking a load. The 51-year-old truck driver was simply standing by his vehicle when the dog attacked.
He was taken to hospital and is suffering from psychological after-effects.
The dog has been taken out of service and an investigation is underway.
