A young man is being praised for his bravery after he tackled a fire in the Vernier tunnel on the A1 just outside Geneva on Friday afternoon.
Three cars collided in the tunnel - and one caught fire.
The man grabbed a fire extinguisher from a nearby truck and started to bring the blaze under control before the emergency services arrived.
The crash caused major delays at the start of the holiday period.
No one was injured.
