Swiss Federal Railways and Geneva Airport are experimenting with a very early train for those on very early flights this Christmas.
The train will leave Biel at 2:40am – serve the stations at Neuchatel, Yverdon, Morges, Nyon and Geneva.
It will arrive at the airport at 4:24 am.
The special train will run the 23rd and 24th December.
If its successful, the train could also run at other holiday periods. The aim is to cut car traffic at the airport.
