Egg donations should be legalized in Switzerland – and donations should be open to the married and unmarried alike.
The Federal Council says the current laws, which allow sperm donation for married couples, is outdated.
A draft new law on medically assisted procreation could also have more changes, such as a relaxation on the number of embryos that can be developed each cycle of IVF.
The project should be put out for consultation at the end of next year.
