A disgruntled former employee of the luxury goods company, Chopard, has been charged with theft after items worth more than CHF 200,000 were found in a garden shed.
The man told police he was frustrated that he hadn’t had a pay rise since 2007 - he’d worked for the company for 30 years.
He considered taking the 280 items as a form of compensation.
The investigation continues.
