An investigation is underway after one person died and two others injured after an explosion in an apartment in canton Vaud.
When emergency workers arrived at the flat in La Tour de Peilz yesterday morning they were met with a fierce blaze and a lot of smoke.
The building was quickly evacuated, two had to be treated for smoke inhalation, and one body was recovered.
The dead person has not been formally identified.
