With temperatures plummeting, the City of Geneva has launched its cold weather plan to make sure that no one is on the streets overnight.
It’s opening a further 80 places to add to the nearly 600 the city already runs.
It started last night and will last until Wednesday at least – but will be extended if necessary.
The cold weather plan is triggered if daytime temperatures stay below zero.
Anyone who needs a place to stay can call on a toll free number: 0800 22 22 10.
