The City of Geneva admits it has been duped after the Church of Scientology was able to set up a stand at last weekend’s Fete de la Musique in the Parc des Bastions.
The stand was for the ‘Citizens Commission for Human Rights’ – which is a front for Scientology.
The group is not banned in Switzerland, but federal cult experts say it’s a ‘totalitarian’ organisation and is regularly criticised for its practices and illegal use of medicine.
The City says it will not be fooled again.
