The Geneva Lake parade will return this summer – after a break of 6 years.
The City has given the event the green light. It will start on the Quai Wilson with up to 15 floats and end at the Parc des Eaux-Vives for the evening Lake Sensation, which is expected to attract 30,000.
Organisers say there was an urge to relaunch the event after the covid lockdowns – and there’s a frustration there’s nothing much going on in Geneva over the summer since the end of the Fetes de Genève.
The Lake Parade will be on the weekend of July 15th.
