Geneva will lift the cantonal minimum wage at the beginning of next year.
The Council of State says it will be CHF 24 an hour, a rise of 73 centimes.
The amount has been calculated due to the rising consumer price index.
A minimum wage was voted in by the population in 2020 – then it was CHF 23 an hour.
There is a lower rate for agricultural workers – that also goes up 54 centimes at CHF 17.64.
