A major study from the University Hospital in Geneva shows those who’ve been vaccinated against Covid have a significantly lower risk of suffering from Long Covid.
A team of researchers have been following people who’ve tested positive for Covid – both vaccinated and unvaccinated – and have been following their symptoms, asking about tiredness, concentration levels, breathing difficulties and their senses of taste and smell.
The results show the vaccinated have a 28% lower risk of persistent symptoms. The University Hospital says the study is one of the largest of its kind in the world - but the results are consistent with other similar research programmes.
