The City of Geneva has activated its emergency cold weather measures.
It means there will be a place for anyone in the city who doesn't have a home to go to.
Emergency places have been set up in a shelter in Champel and some hotels have offered rooms.
In total there’s space for 638 people.
The shelters are open from 6.15pm to 8.15am.
In addition to the shelters – there are teams checking the streets to make sure anyone outside knows there is a space for them if they want and handing out hot drinks.
The emergency plan will be in place until Wednesday – although it may be extended.
