Air travel around the world faced major turbulence over the weekend after Airbus grounded six thousand A320s for an emergency software update.
The move followed an incident in October, when a JetBlue A320 suddenly dived mid-flight - an issue now linked to solar radiation corrupting flight-control data.
But in Switzerland, disruptions were limited. Geneva Airport reported no cancellations, and both Swiss and EasyJet say they completed the required updates quickly, keeping weekend operations running normally.
Aviation authorities stress the fixes were coordinated with European safety regulators, and no further impact is expected.
