The air quality in Geneva is getting better.
Last year the canton had the lowest levels of fine particles and nitrogen dioxide ever recorded.
Ozone levels remain a problem, but still far lower than previous years.
The canton says the results show its environmental policies are working.
Although the overcall results are pleasing, it concedes there remains pockets where the air quality still isn’t good enough – such as along main roads.
