The furniture and home retailer, Habitat has fallen into bankruptcy and there are fears that some customers who had placed orders may not get their goods.
Habitat Suisse had two stores in Switzerland – Meyrin and Zurich.
A Facebook group of aggrieved customers has been created – and many are telling stories of delays and excuses and now they may not get anything, despite having paid.
Although it’s thought that the Swiss arm of the company was trading well – it was brought down by the collapse of its French parent at the end of last year.
Habitat was founded by the noted British designer Terence Conran – he died in 2020.
