A heatwave is returning – and it’s likely to be longer than the one that hit in June, warn forecasters.
Temperatures will breach 35 degrees from Wednesday and could last for more than a week. Météo News says the heatwave is worrying. Experts say the vulnerable should be checked on and it will only increase the dryness of the soil raising the risk of fires.
It’s not just Switzerland - the hot weather will spread across a good part of Europe – with southern France and Spain likely to be strongly affected.
