Last year was a bad year for deaths on the road. 250 people died, the worst level since 2015.
Pedestrians and e-bike users were the most affected.
But the number of serious injuries were down.
Out of the 250 that died, 81 were in cars, 47 motorcyclists, 16 on e-bikes – although only 4 cyclists – and 48 pedestrians.
The Federal Roads Office admits the figures are high.
