Police are calling for witnesses after a home-jacking in Moudon in Canton Vaud.
The perpetrator knocked on a woman’s door around 9am on Monday this week, posing as a caregiver. After the woman let him into her apartment, he threatened her with a knife and burgled her home, stealing valuables - including gold jewellery, before fleeing.
The victim said that the perpetrator wore a surgical mask and sunglasses when at the door, but switched to a balaclava once inside.
Police are calling for witnesses. He’s described as male, 180cm tall, dark-skin with a beard and did not speak French well.
Although he was wearing all black, he fled with a small yellow suitcase containing valuables.
