We should be in for a hot summer!
That’s according to meteorologists who are suggesting that the temperatures for June, July and August will be 1 and half degrees above average for the time of year. July will be a bit drier, but August will have normal rainfall.
The predictions are from Météo France. But they’re being backed up by MeteoSuisse. Forecasters say hot temperatures for French speaking Switzerland is an 80% probability.
Météo France is keen to point out – this is not a forecast, but a prediction.
The warmer temperatures should start this month - but the next few days will remain cool.
