Switzerland’s inflation rate fell back to zero percent in November, down slightly from 0.1% in October.
The Federal Statistics Office says inflation is now at its lowest level since April, and below what many economists had expected.
Domestic goods still rose 0.4% over the year, while prices for imported goods fell sharply, down 1.3%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices slipped slightly, driven by cheaper hotel stays, package holidays, new cars, and fresh produce - while rents, heating oil and airfares continued to climb.
