Inflation will hit the price of a ski pass this upcoming season – but Switzerland will not see increases as much as other areas of Europe.
The Association of Swiss Ski Lifts says price rises will be between 2 and 3% compared to last season.
But as inflation is higher in the Eurozone, other countries will have steeper price hikes.
Austria is likely to be particularly badly hit – with rises of between 7 and 10%.
Despite the lower inflationary rise in this country, it’s still expensive. The average ski pass will cost more than CHF 70 for a day.
