A massive computer failure brought the airport to a standstill yesterday afternoon.
Air traffic control was not affected, but check-in systems, departure and arrival information and baggage sorting all came to a halt.
During the blackout, departures were cancelled and only aircraft already enroute were allowed to land.
The failure was just before midday – and lasted until nearly 3pm.
The airport says it doesn’t suspect a cyber-attack – a simple failure is to blame.
What exactly happened is still under investigation, says the airport.
