The number of job vacancies in Switzerland continues to fall.
The latest figures from the recruitment firm Adecco shows in the second quarter there was an 11% fall compared to the same quarter as last year.
The number of vacancies is down across many sectors from secretarial to administrative, healthcare to IT.
But there are more openings for qualified construction workers – vacancies are up 10%.
The trend is true across the whole country.
The vacancy rate is now close to pre-pandemic levels, suggesting the economy is on track to put covid behind it.
