The dog-sled race in canton Jura will now go ahead.
The lack of snow had threatened the famous Saignelégier sled race. But organisers say they’ve been working on the course – and it can now happen this weekend.
It brings together more than 100 teams and 800 dogs in the canton Jura town.
It marks the 50th anniversary of the races. There will be several different activities to mark the occasion, including a projection of the Northern Lights on Saturday evening.
The tourist office advises anyone who wants to watch, gets there early and takes public transport.
