Lady luck smiled on A1 drivers

It could have been far worse traffic jam on the A1 autoroute in Aargau yesterday morning.

A tree fell across both lanes, fortunately, it didn’t hit any cars and those on the road were able to stop in time.

Adding to the good fortune, one driver had a chainsaw with him – and started to cut it up.

That made the job of the fire service to clear the tree from the road much easier.

In all, the road was closed for only 20 minutes.
