This year’s Lake Parade in Geneva will be bigger than ever and record crowds are expected.
Organisers have expanded the after-parade party – the Lake Sensation – so it can accommodate up to 50,000 – 10,000 more than last year.
The organiser, Christian Kupferschmid, says last year’s parade – back after a 6 year absence - was a great success and the feedback was very positive.
He also says the floats will be more decorated this year.
The Parade will be on Saturday 20th July – but the next day will also have something for those who’d like to be a bit more laid back. From noon to 8pm there’s a disco, brunch and children’s entertainment.
