Around 20,000 marched through Lausanne on Saturday for the Pride parade, the first Pride event in the city for 20 years.
Despite extreme heat, the march passed in a festive, incident-free atmosphere, with only one fainting reported.
Tensions did surface beforehand as anti-capitalist and pro-Palestinian groups criticised sponsor Logitech over alleged links to Israel's military.
Next year's edition marks 30 years of Pride in Suisse Romand and returns to Geneva.
