The new 2025 train timetable is now in effect – and there are some welcome changes around the Geneva region.
The TPG and the Léman Express are both expanding services – especially at night.
The major change, and Geneva is the first canton to offer this service – the Léman Express will now be running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The L4 and L5 lines will have at least one train an hour, always. It’s hoped this service will boost Geneva nightlife.
One train user commented on X – this means some outlying Geneva villages will be getting a better night service than suburbs in Paris.
The TPG is also boosting its night bus service.
But it’s not just overnight, there’ll now be extra trains at rush hour.
Users are encouraged to check the new timetables online.
