A light aircraft has crashed in the canton of Bern, killing its pilot.
The plane smashed into a field in Ochlenberg yesterday afternoon.
The 64-year-old pilot, from canton Solothurn, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The aircraft was a Cri-Cri, a rare, ultra-light twin-engine plane originally designed in France. Its departure point and intended destination have not yet been established.
Investigations are underway.
