Major accident near aiport causes disruption

An accident on the A1 autoroute caused major disruptions yesterday evening.

A car and a taxi collided under the Palexpo near the airport. Five people were involved, two adults and three children.

Firefighters had to cut out two victims from one of the vehicles.

The road heading in the Nyon direction was reduced to one lane from around 7.45 to 9.30 last night.

Police say the five were taken to hospital, and are in a stable condition.
