A man has died in an apartment fire in canton Solothurn.
His body was found when firefighters entered the building as part of the final extinguishing operation.
The fire broke out yesterday at 2.30 am in Gerlafingen. Residents in neighbouring flats and buildings were forced to leave.
Police believe the victim was the resident – but a formal identification has yet to be made.
An investigation is underway.
