It’s been revealed a man accused of kidnapping his own child and taking him to Morrocco has been in jail in Geneva since the beginning of the year.
Last December, the man took his 5-year-old son to Marrakech – despite the mother being given sole custody by the courts.
The father returned to Geneva in January, without his son. He was placed in pre-trial detention.
The child has been found in Morocco by local authorities but can’t return as his passport is lost.
