A major search for a missing man over the weekend was just a case of someone wanting some alone time.
A man in his sixties who had taken a swim in Lake Geneva at Allaman was seen getting into the lake at around 4.30 on Sunday afternoon. He hadn’t been seen for more than two hours and he alarm was raised.
Police and rescuers used boats and a helicopter to search for the man. But the man reappeared later safe and sound.
He says he was walking back after his swim. Police say they’re not sure where he was when the search was underway.
