A man was stabbed to death in Basel in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Prosecutors say the 28-year-old victim was with a group of friends when a second group attacked them.
The man was so badly injured, he died on the spot.
Basel City police say a 22-year-old has been arrested.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
